I’ve been thinking about
how smart dogs are,
oh, and jumping spiders and
human cells and quartz
crystals and,
oh, everything.
It always come back
to this: this very smart
universe, right out there
in plain sight, so smart,
and almost nobody
notices.
I’m thinking about
how it all depends
on lying down
in the grass and
letting go.
